Ambassadorship is a great way to get connected in the community. If you have an interest or know someone who would like to apply, just let us know!
Keep an eye out on our website and social media channels for the announcement of our 4 business of the year award winners. (Business of the year, Small business of the year, Non-Profit of the Year and Rookie of the year) We will be awarding these around the first of the year. Also, coming in December, a big announcement from the Chamber!
This year’s Citizens of the year have been selected and we are thrilled to announce that Lakeside residents, Jack and Tracey Edwards are the extraordinary recipients of this well-deserved award. Due to the pandemic, we are also unable to celebrate with them this year, however, we will hold a double-celebration next year honoring both 2020 and 2021 recipients. We are looking forward to a great big party!
Since March, the Chamber has had to cancel a total of 9 events, that said, we have created over 45! We have had workshops on working remotely, Funding resources, Stress, and managing remote employees just to name a few. We have held a State of the City event and conversations with Assembly Members and Congressman Bera as well as lighthearted networking events. All have been open to the public at no charge. We encourage everyone to visit one of our events which can be found on our website and bring a friend. We look forward to seeing you there!
We wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy and prosperous New Year!
